The aroma flows, gently and engulfs you.

Turkey, dressing, pumpkin and mince pie too,

fill your thoughts with the desire to eat your fill.

When the flavors grip your taste buds, what a thrill.

Here's to the cook, and the Thanksgiving feast so fine.

Thank God for this day of appreciation and His blessings devine.
